Everything about the new Corvette Stingray is exciting, from its bold look to its unyielding performance abilities — the best of any entry Corvette ever. Just as good: the cost. 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray prices start at $59,995 MSRP (including Destination Freight Charge of $1,095; excluding tax, title, license, dealer fees and optional equipment), making it an affordable option for performance enthusiasts.
“Most people thought when we moved the Corvette to mid-engine it would no longer be attainable, but we knew we couldn’t mess with a winning formula and the 2020 Stingray proves it,” said Brian Sweeney, Chevrolet U.S. vice president.
The new Corvette Stingray, which boasts a mighty 490-horsepower 6.2-liter Small Block V8, is available in three trims: 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. The mid-level trim adds features like a Front Curb View Camera, Performance Data Recorder, and Bose® 14-speaker Performance Series Audio, knocking the price up to $67,295 MSRP. At the top of the range is the $71,945 Corvette Stingray 3LT, which adds Napa and Mulan leather GT2 seats with carbon fiber trim and a custom leather and suede interior.
Also available is the Z51 Performance Package at $5,000, which adds a performance exhaust, performance suspension, and Michelin® Pilot® Sport 4S performance tires among other features. The performance exhaust and performance suspension — both part of the Z51 Performance Package — are available as individual add-ons to the tune of $1,195 and $1,495 respectively.
