The new and improved 2021 Chevrolet Colorado has already broken cover, and it’s fair to say the future is looking bright for the midsize pickup. Chevy revealed that the new Colorado will do more to differentiate trims when it comes to smaller details, making for more personalization among truck lovers.
The new 2021 Chevrolet Colorado features updated bowtie badges, Chevrolet tailgate embossments, center bars, lower fascias, and front skid plates across the lineup. Trim specific changes include golden bowtie emblems for the Colorado WT and LT and a black bowtie for the Z71. The Z71 and off-road-ready 2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 will also be offered with a new Sand Dune Metallic exterior hue.
“We’ve sold 520,000 Colorado pickups in five years through a relentless, foot-on-the-gas approach to product and feature updates,” said Bob Krapes, director of marketing, Chevrolet Trucks. “With its new-look front end and tailgate, Colorado will now have a more aggressive appearance to match its award-winning capability.”
The 2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, which debuted in full at SEMA in November, features all the adventure-ready equipment that’s made it so popular. This includes segment-exclusive Multimatic DSSV™ dampers, front and rear electronic locking differentials, an Autotrac® transfer case, and a 2-inch suspension lift. For 2021, the Colorado ZR2 also gets stylish new red tow hooks.
