The wait is almost over: the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer will be available at Don Larson GM this spring. With a starting MSRP under $20,000 and plenty of features that you’re sure to love, we expect the Trailblazer will quickly become a favorite in the showroom.
“Slotting between the Trax and Equinox, the addition of the Trailblazer provides us with a great opportunity to expand the Chevy SUV family to new audiences,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing. “With the new ACTIV trim, plus the sporty RS trim, we can appeal to customers’ varying active lifestyles.”
The new 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer ACTIV trim will feature a larger dual-port grille, 17-inch Hankook Sport Terrain tires, and retuned damping, making it both unique and better capable for heading off road. The Trailblazer will, like the Blazer, get an RS trim option that swaps in a distinctive mesh grille with black bowtie badge and a two-tone roof.
Performance-wise, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer is available with two engine options: a 1.2-liter turbo and 1.3-liter turbo, both standard with a Continuously Variable Transmission. All-wheel drive will be available, as will a nine-speed automatic for models equipped with AWD and the 1.3-liter turbo.
If you’re as excited about the new Chevrolet Trailblazer as we are, visit the showroom this spring and see it firsthand. We’ll set you up with a test drive so that you can blaze trails all your own.
