The GMC Canyon is the trend-setter when it comes to capable and elevated midsize pickup trucks. Later this year, it will set the standard even higher when the new 2021 Canyon arrives at Don Larson GM in Baraboo, WI. Among the most exciting updates is the addition of the all-new 2021 GMC Canyon AT4 to the lineup.
Off-road enthusiasts around Baraboo will be thrilled to hear that the fan-favorite AT4 trim is finally coming to the 2021 Canyon. The package features a number of aesthetic upgrades, like Kalahari stitching, embroidered headrests, and a bold grille. The 2021 GMC Canyon AT4 comes with a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers a best-in-class 308 horsepower, but an optional 2.8-liter diesel powertrain that delivers 669 lb-ft of torque is also available. Off-roading features are the primary focus of the AT4 package, and include an automatic locking rear differential, 4WD, Advanced Hill Descent Control system, transfer case skid plate, and 31-inch all-terrain tires.
Also seeing major updates for 2021 is the iconic Canyon Denali. Gorgeous aluminum accents, supple stitching, ash wood trim, and a new Cocoa color option adorn the Canyon’s interior, while an updated grille, helpful chrome steps, and Diamond Cut wheels grace the truck’s exterior. According to GMC Director of Exterior Design Holt Ware, the new look “features a more distinctive and sophisticated design that has become synonymous with Denali.”
