For the second year in a row, General Motors has made Ethisphere’s list of the World’s Most Ethical Companies. GM is the only automaker on the 2021 list, proving itself to be a global leader when it comes to fighting climate change and making the place a safer place.
Ethisphere named 135 honorees in total to the 2021 list. To make the list, these companies needed to be committed to being a leader, making values-based decisions, and having integrity. GM has proven itself worthy of its honoree status throughout the pandemic. Not only has the automaker worked to keep its employees and customers safe, but it has also helped protect frontline workers by producing thousands of ventilators and millions of face masks.
Last year, GM also announced that it was giving $10 million to organizations encouraging racial justice and inclusion. In addition, the automaker set new goals for achieving an all-electric future. It plans to use $27 billion to develop electric and autonomous vehicles as well as introduce 30 new EV models by 2025. It will also be completely carbon neutral by 2040 and accordingly become a more eco-friendly company.
Over the past year, GM has shown that it cares about the planet and people beyond its customers and workers. If you want to buy a vehicle from an automaker you can trust and respect, consider the GM models we offer at Don Larson Chevrolet Buick GMC in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
